2009 Classics Challenge!

Thanks go to KB for the tip-off about the Classics Challenge - what could be better than picking out books to read? I will probably enjoy picking the books just as much as I will enjoy (hopefully) reading them. :) You too can sign up if you want, here.

Here are my choices:

1. Bleak House, by Charles Dickens
2. Moby Dick, by Herman Melville
3. The Picture of Dorian Grey, by Oscar Wilde
4. A Room with a View, by E.M. Forster
5. Three Men in a Boat, by Jerome K. Jerome
6. Anne of Green Gables, by L.M. Montgomery (and old favorite that I can't resist re-reading)
7. future classic - Atonement, by Ian McEwan (I will finish this book!)

Play along, won't you? :)

  1. I didn't read the book, but I saw the movie for atonement. I loved it! I am sure the book is so much better, they always are. And as for Anne, that really is one of the best books ever. :)
